This handmade body butter is only made with vegan, organic, and fair trade ingredients, including tea tree and lavender essential oils, shea butter, cocoa butter, and extra virgin olive oil.
For severe dry skin, start with a lotion of your choice and then lock in the moisture with this body butter.
This product is made with all-natural oils and no preservatives, so avoid moisture getting into the jar or your body butter could spoil (clean dry hands work best).
This butter will react to temperature. It could melt if you leave it in your car on a warm day, but don't panic! Stir it and pop it in the fridge. Once the butter has a moment to resolidify, the texture while in the jar won't be the same, but when warmed in your hands while applying, it will work exactly as it did before. If your home is warm, if you are buying a larger size, or if you aren't using it right away, it's best to store it in the fridge.
We've had pretty good luck with packages staying cool, but if your package is left outside for too long during the summer months, it could also melt. Be sure to track your package and try to get it inside as soon as possible.
